MapsLead Pro Privacy Policy

This policy describes how MapsLead Pro, published by MapsLead (“we”), handles information when you use the MapsLead Pro Chrome extension and its sign-in and subscription features.

Information processed

• Maps listing information: When you start an extraction, the extension reads listing fields visible on the supported Maps page, such as business name, category, phone, website, rating, reviews, address, and Maps URL. It processes these fields in the browser to display a preview and create an export. The lead list and exported file are not sent to our Firebase billing backend.
• Google account and authentication: If you choose Google sign-in, Chrome Identity supplies authentication credentials. The extension exchanges the sign-in with Firebase Authentication and stores the resulting session tokens and account email locally in Chrome extension storage so it can refresh your session and check your subscription. Do not share your device profile with people you do not trust.
• Usage counters and settings: Monthly CSV/PDF counts and extension settings are stored in Chrome extension storage. Free counters are local to the extension profile and can be reset by removing or changing that storage; they are not a server-side account-wide record.
• Subscription and billing records: If you start a subscription, Firebase and Stripe process identifiers needed to associate your account with a Stripe customer, subscription status, billing period, webhook event, and transaction. Stripe-hosted Checkout and the Billing Portal handle payment details; MapsLead Pro does not receive or store full card numbers. Stripe may process additional information under its own privacy policy.
• Technical and security logs: Firebase Functions may log limited operational information such as function errors, event identifiers, account identifiers, and billing status to operate and secure subscription verification. We do not intentionally send Maps searches or extracted lead lists to these logs.

How information is used and shared

We use account and billing information to sign you in, verify Pro access, create and manage subscriptions, provide support, prevent duplicate subscriptions and fraud, and meet legal obligations. Authentication data is processed by Google/Firebase, and subscription and payment data is processed by Stripe. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not sell personal information or use Maps search history for advertising.

For users in the EEA, our legal basis for processing your billing and authentication data is the performance of our contract with you, and for usage analytics, it is our legitimate business interest.

Storage and retention

Lead previews and exports are handled locally by the extension. Local usage counters and authentication session data remain in Chrome extension storage until changed or removed; signing out removes the locally stored session. Firebase and Stripe retain account, subscription, transaction, security, and compliance records as needed to provide the service and satisfy legal, accounting, and dispute obligations. To request deletion of the MapsLead account records we control, contact mapslead.users@outlook.com. Some billing or legally required records may need to be retained by Stripe or us for the periods required by law.

Your choices and rights

You can use Chrome's extension controls to remove MapsLead Pro and its local data, sign out in the extension, and cancel a subscription through the Stripe Billing Portal. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information. Contact us at the email below to make a privacy request. We may need to verify your account before fulfilling it.

Security and children

We use Firebase Authentication, access-controlled server functions, Firestore security rules, and Stripe-hosted payment pages to protect account and billing information. No service can guarantee absolute security. MapsLead Pro is intended for business users and is not directed to children.
